Packing
Plumbing parts are packed to protect threads, finishes and fragile items such as ceramic cartridges and glass-lined components. Long items such as pipe lengths are packed separately.
Checking your parts
When a delivery arrives, compare each part with the one you are replacing before starting work. Leave new parts in their packaging until you are sure they fit, which keeps them in returnable condition.
Returns
Unused parts in their original packaging can generally be returned. Items that have been installed, cut, soldered or glued cannot be accepted back, so measure twice before you cut.
